Alva Activity Week

Starting with our pompom hanging on Sunday May 18th and culminating with the Fun Day and Ceilidh on Saturday 24th Alva Activity Week is almost upon us. Here is the full timetable for the week. All activities are also listed on our calendar.

 

 

 

ALVA ACTIVITY WEEK

MONDAY 19TH – SATURDAY 23rd MAY 2014

ALL ACTIVITIES ARE FREE ENTRY UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED

Monday 19th

12.00noon – 1.00pm Cochrane Hall Wee County Walkers
Free, safe, short weekly led walk meet at Cochrane Hall car park Alva 12 noon.

Tuesday 20th

10.30am – 11.30am Alva Parklands Centre Light Exercise Class for all ages Donation of 50p to Strathcarron Hospice

3.30pm – 5.00pm Alva Parish Church T-shirt Painting
By Higglety Pigglety Bring your own T-shirt/jeans/jacket etc.

Wednesday 21st

10.30 – 11.00am Alva Parish church
Nail Painting Demonstration by Sparkles Nails

1.45pm – 4.00pm Cochrane Foundation Hall, Croftshaw Road, ALVA
Darby & Joan Club
Whist, Dominoes, chat & meet others. £1 includes tea/biscuit

Thursday 22nd

4.00pm Haircare 112 Stirling Street
Summer Hair demonstration by Haircare

7.00pm – 9.30pm WCC Workshop, Cobden Street ALVA
Wee County Crafters Try Wood Turning/ Wood Carving.
Under 16s must have adult supervision at all times

7.30 pm No 5 Inn, Brook Street, ALVA Family Quiz Night
Raising money for charity incl raffle

Friday 23rd

9.30am – 11.30am Cochrane Hall, ALVA Alva Toddler Group
Welcome you for a “Free Fun Toddler Session”

Saturday 24th

12.00noon – 4.00pm Cochrane Park, ALVA
ALVA COMMUNITY FUN DAY
Bouncy Castles, Climbing Wall, Stalls, Tea & Cake, Assault Course & more

7.30pm – 10.30pm Cochrane Hall,ALVA Family Ceilidh
With Ceilidh band – “Freereelin” and hot buffet by No. 5 Inn and bar by Oakwood.
